Newcastle Based cloud service provider Sabervox have just completed an upgrade of their cloud storage infrastructure. This capital investment builds on the existing infrastructure effectively doubling total capacity from 1 Petabyte to 2 Petabytes as well as increased performance.

Managing Director of Sabervox Dan Wright says “Our expansion was driven by customer demand for high-speed and low latency storage-as-a-service (StAAS) based in Newcastle – closer to the end customer. This allows customers to easily expand into an enterprise StAAS subscription without the large upfront cost.”

Sabervox are providing a technically viable and cost competitive solution to the large International players that dominate the media. The Sabervox Infinidat Storage is homed at multiple Data Centres with the Primary being located in the Countrytell Steel River Data Centre.

Countrytell work closely with Sabervox to deliver network connectivity to Sabervox customers over the Countrytell FlexiPort fabric.
